F rom the day that the ark stayed in Kiriath Jearim, the time was long; for it was twenty years; and all the house of Israel lamented after Yahweh.

Il s'était passé bien du temps depuis le jour où l'arche avait été déposée à Kirjath Jearim. Vingt années s'étaient écoulées. Alors toute la maison d'Israël poussa des gémissements vers l'Éternel.
