T hen David ran, stood over the Philistine, took his sword, drew it out of its sheath, killed him, and cut off his head with it. When the Philistines saw that their champion was dead, they fled.

Entonces corrió David y se puso sobre el filisteo, y tomando la espada de él, sacándola de su vaina, lo mató, y le cortó con él la cabeza. Y cuando los filisteos vieron su gigante muerto, huyeron.
