T he Philistines assembled themselves together to fight with Israel, thirty thousand chariots, and six thousand horsemen, and people as the sand which is on the seashore in multitude. They came up and encamped in Michmash, eastward of Beth Aven.

Edhe Filistejtë u mblodhën për të luftuar kundër Izraelit, me tridhjetë mijë qerre, gjashtë mijë kalorës dhe shumë njerëz, si rëra në bregun e detit. Ata u nisën pra, dhe u vendosën në Mikmash, në lindje të Beth-Avenit.
