H ere I am. Witness against me before Yahweh, and before his anointed. Whose ox have I taken? Whose donkey have I taken? Whom have I defrauded? Whom have I oppressed? Of whose hand have I taken a ransom to make me blind my eyes? I will restore it to you.”

Eccomi qui; rendete a mio riguardo la vostra testimonianza, in presenza del Signore e in presenza del suo unto. A chi ho preso il bue? A chi ho preso l’asino? Chi ho derubato? Chi ho offeso? Da chi ho accettato regali per chiudere gli occhi sul suo comportamento? Io vi restituirò ogni cosa!»
