B ut there was a strong tower within the city, and all the men and women of the city fled there, and shut themselves in, and went up to the roof of the tower.

En medio de aquella ciudad había una torre fortificada, a la cual se retiraron todos los hombres y las mujeres, y todos los señores de la ciudad; y cerrando tras sí las puertas, se subieron al techo de la torre.
