A bimelech fought against the city all that day; and he took the city, and killed the people in it. He beat down the city, and sowed it with salt.

Abimélec attaqua la ville pendant toute la journée; il s'en empara, et tua le peuple qui s'y trouvait. Puis il rasa la ville, et y sema du sel.
