T hey turned and fled toward the wilderness to the rock of Rimmon; and they gleaned five thousand men of them in the highways, and followed hard after them to Gidom, and struck two thousand men of them.

Da wandten sie sich und flohen zu der Wüste, an den Fels Rimmon; aber auf derselben Straße schlugen sie fünftausend Mann und folgten ihnen hintennach bis gen Gideom und schlugen ihrer zweitausend.
