T he children of Benjamin came out of Gibeah, and on that day destroyed twenty-two thousand of the Israelite men down to the ground.

وَخَرَجَ البَنْيامِيْنِيُّونَ مِنْ جِبْعَةَ، وَقَتَلُوا فِي ذَلِكَ اليَوْمِ اثْنَينِ وَعِشْرِينَ ألفَ رَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي إسْرائِيلَ فِي مَيدانِ المَعرَكَةِ.
