T he children of Ammon passed over the Jordan to fight also against Judah, and against Benjamin, and against the house of Ephraim, so that Israel was very distressed.

وَعَبَرَ العَمُونِّيونَ نَهْرَ الأُردُنِّ لِيُحارِبُوا بَنِي يَهُوذا أيضاً، بِالإضافَةِ إلَى بَنِي بَنْيامِيْنَ وَبَنِي أفْرايِمَ. فَكانَ بَنُو إسْرائِيلَ فِي ضِيقٍ عَظِيمٍ.
