( for that righteous man dwelling among them, was tormented in his righteous soul from day to day with seeing and hearing lawless deeds):

كانَ ذَلِكَ البارُّ يَتَعَذَّبُ فِي قَلْبِهِ البارِّ مِنَ الأُمُورِ الَّتِي يَراها وَيَسْمَعُها، وَهُوَ يَعِيشُ بَينَهُمْ يَوماً بَعْدَ الآخَرِ.
