B ehold, when we come into the land, tie this line of scarlet thread in the window which you used to let us down. Gather to yourself into the house your father, your mother, your brothers, and all your father’s household.

Pero tú debes atar este cordón rojo en la ventana por donde nos descolgaste. Eso nos servirá de señal cuando entremos a la ciudad. Reúne en tu casa a toda tu familia, es decir, a tu padre y a tu madre, y a todos tus hermanos y parientes.
