N ow therefore give me this hill country, of which Yahweh spoke in that day; for you heard in that day how the Anakim were there, and great and fortified cities. It may be that Yahweh will be with me, and I shall drive them out, as Yahweh said.”

`And now, give to me this hill-country, of which Jehovah spake in that day, for thou didst hear in that day, for Anakim there, and cities, great, fenced; if so be Jehovah with me, then I have dispossessed them, as Jehovah hath spoken.'
