Joshua 10:28 ~ Giô-sua 10:28

J oshua took Makkedah on that day, and struck it with the edge of the sword, with its king. He utterly destroyed it and all the souls who were in it. He left no one remaining. He did to the king of Makkedah as he had done to the king of Jericho.

Trong ngày đó, Giô-suê cũng chiếm lấy Ma-kê-đa, và dùng lưỡi gươm giết cả thành cùng vua nó. Người tận diệt thành, luôn hết thảy kẻ ở trong, không để thoát một ai. Người đãi vua Ma-kê-đa như đã đãi vua Giê-ri-cô.
