Y ahweh your God will cast out those nations before you little by little. You may not consume them at once, lest the animals of the field increase on you.

Er, der HERR, dein Gott, wird diese Leute ausrotten vor dir, einzeln nacheinander. Du kannst sie nicht eilend vertilgen, auf daß sich nicht wider dich mehren die Tiere auf dem Felde.
