W hen Yahweh your God brings you into the land where you go to possess it, and casts out many nations before you, the Hittite, the Girgashite, the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite, seven nations greater and mightier than you;

“Quando o Senhor, o seu Deus, os fizer entrar na terra, para a qual vocês estão indo para dela tomarem posse, ele expulsará de diante de vocês muitas nações: os hititas, os girgaseus, os amorreus, os cananeus, os ferezeus, os heveus e os jebuseus.
