Deuteronomy 25:2 ~ Phục Truyền Luật Lệ 25:2

I t shall be, if the wicked man is worthy to be beaten, that the judge shall cause him to lie down, and to be beaten before his face, according to his wickedness, by number.

Nhược bằng kẻ có tội đáng bị đánh đòn, quan án phải khiến người nằm xuống đất, đánh người trước mặt mình, số bao nhiêu đòn tùy theo lỗi của người đã phạm.
