B ut Sihon king of Heshbon would not let us pass by him; for Yahweh your God hardened his spirit, and made his heart obstinate, that he might deliver him into your hand, as it is today.

»Pero Sijón, el rey de Jesbón, no nos dejó pasar por su territorio, y es que el Señor tu Dios había endurecido su espíritu, y cerrado su corazón, para entregarlo en tus manos, como hasta el día de hoy.
