Y ou shall not do so to Yahweh your God; for every abomination to Yahweh, which he hates, have they done to their gods; for they even burn their sons and their daughters in the fire to their gods.

Voi să nu faceţi aşa faţă de Domnul, Dumnezeul vostru, căci ele săvârşeau înaintea zeilor lor tot felul de lucruri îngrozitoare, pe care Domnul le urăşte. Ele îşi ardeau fiii şi fiicele în foc ca jertfe pentru zeii lor.
