B ut when you go over the Jordan, and dwell in the land which Yahweh your God causes you to inherit, and he gives you rest from all your enemies around you, so that you dwell in safety;

Voi dunque passerete il Giordano e abiterete il paese che il Signore, il vostro Dio, vi dà in eredità; avrete pace da tutti i vostri nemici che vi circondano e vivrete nella sicurezza.
