T o the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might gain Jews; to those who are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain those who are under the law;

Faţă de iudei, am fost ca un iudeu, pentru a-i câştiga pe iudei. Faţă de cei ce sunt sub Lege, am fost ca unul care este sub Lege, măcar că nu sunt sub Lege, pentru a-i câştiga pe cei de sub Lege.
