B esides hope, Abraham in hope believed, to the end that he might become a father of many nations, according to that which had been spoken, “So will your offspring be.”

Und er hat geglaubt auf Hoffnung, da nichts zu hoffen war, auf daß er würde ein Vater vieler Völker, wie denn zu ihm gesagt ist: "Also soll dein Same sein."
