T hey stirred up the people, the elders, and the scribes, and came against him and seized him, and brought him in to the council,

وَهَكَذا أهاجُوا عَلَيهِ النّاسَ وَالشُّيُوخَ وَمُعَلِّمِي الشَّرِيعَةِ. فَجاءُوا وَأمسَكُوا بِهِ، وَأحضَرُوهُ أمامَ مَجلِسِ اليَهُودِ.
