B ut Felix, having more exact knowledge concerning the Way, deferred them, saying, “When Lysias, the commanding officer, comes down, I will decide your case.”

ثُمَّ قَرَّرَ فِيلِكسُ الَّذِي كانَ مُطَّلِعاً اطِّلاعاً جَيِّداً عَلَى «الطَّرِيقِ،» أنْ يُؤَجِّلَ الجَلسَةَ، وَقالَ: «حِينَ يَأتِي الآمِرُ لِيسْياسُ، سَأبِتُّ فِي قَضِيَّتِكَ.»
