W hen a great argument arose, the commanding officer, fearing that Paul would be torn in pieces by them, commanded the soldiers to go down and take him by force from among them, and bring him into the barracks.

A discussão tornou-se tão violenta que o comandante teve medo que Paulo fosse despedaçado por eles. Então ordenou que as tropas descessem e o retirassem à força do meio deles, levando-o para a fortaleza.
