W hen they opposed him and blasphemed, he shook out his clothing and said to them, “Your blood be on your own heads! I am clean. From now on, I will go to the Gentiles!”

and on their resisting and speaking evil, having shaken garments, he said unto them, `Your blood upon your head -- I am clean; henceforth to the nations I will go on.'
