B ut the unpersuaded Jews took along some wicked men from the marketplace, and gathering a crowd, set the city in an uproar. Assaulting the house of Jason, they sought to bring them out to the people.

Entonces los judíos que no creían, teniendo celos, tomaron consigo a algunos hombres malvados de la plaza, y juntando una turba, alborotaron la ciudad; y asaltando la casa de Jasón, procuraban sacarlos al pueblo.
