Acts 17:18 ~ ﺍﻋﻤﺎﻝ ﺍﻟﺮﺳﻞ 17:18

S ome of the Epicurean and Stoic philosophers also were conversing with him. Some said, “What does this babbler want to say?” Others said, “He seems to be advocating foreign deities,” because he preached Jesus and the resurrection.

فَبَدَأ بَعضُ الفَلاسِفَةِ الأبِيقُورِيِّيْنَ وَالرِّواقِيِّيْنَ يُجادِلُونَهُ، وَقالَ بَعضُهُمْ: «ما الَّذِي يُرِيدُ أنْ يَقُولَهُ هَذا الثَّرْثارُ؟» وَقالَ آخَرُونَ: «يَبدُو أنَّهُ يَتَكَلَّمُ عَنْ آلِهَةٍ غَرِيبَةٍ.» قالُوا هَذا لِأنَّهُ كانَ يُبَشِّرُ بِيَسُوعَ وَبِالقِيامَةِ.
