B ut Paul said to them, “They have beaten us publicly, without a trial, men who are Romans, and have cast us into prison! Do they now release us secretly? No, most certainly, but let them come themselves and bring us out!”

保 羅 卻 說 ： 我 們 是 羅 馬 人 ， 並 沒 有 定 罪 ， 他 們 就 在 眾 人 面 前 打 了 我 們 ， 又 把 我 們 下 在 監 裡 ， 現 在 要 私 下 攆 我 們 出 去 麼 ？ 這 是 不 行 的 。 叫 他 們 自 己 來 領 我 們 出 去 罷 ！
