W hen Pilate therefore heard these words, he brought Jesus out, and sat down on the judgment seat at a place called “The Pavement”, but in Hebrew, “Gabbatha.”

Ao ouvir isso, Pilatos trouxe Jesus para fora e sentou-se na cadeira de juiz, num lugar conhecido como Pavimento de Pedra (que em aramaico é Gábata).
