T he multitude answered him, “We have heard out of the law that the Christ remains forever. How do you say, ‘The Son of Man must be lifted up?’ Who is this Son of Man?”

La folla quindi gli rispose: «Noi abbiamo udito dalla legge che il Cristo dimora in eterno; come mai dunque tu dici che il Figlio dell’uomo dev’essere innalzato? Chi è questo Figlio dell’uomo?»
