M ary, therefore, took a pound of ointment of pure nard, very precious, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair. The house was filled with the fragrance of the ointment.

Allora Maria, presa una libbra d’olio profumato, di nardo puro, di gran valore, unse i piedi di Gesù e glieli asciugò con i suoi capelli; e la casa fu piena del profumo dell’olio.
