W hile he was at Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at the table, a woman came having an alabaster jar of ointment of pure nard—very costly. She broke the jar, and poured it over his head.

În timp ce se afla în Betania, luând masa în casa lui Simon, leprosul, a venit o femeie care avea un vas de alabastru, plin cu parfum de nard pur, foarte scump. Ea a spart vasul de alabastru şi a turnat parfumul pe capul lui Isus.
