P harisees came to him testing him, and asked him, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife?”

وَجاءَ إلَيهِ بَعضُ الفِرِّيسِيِّينَ وَسَألُوهُ: «أيَجوزُ أنْ يُطَلِّقَ الرَّجُلُ زَوجَتَهُ؟» سَألُوهُ هَذا لِكَي يَصْطادُوهُ فِي أيِّ خَطَأ.
