F or I am also a man under authority, having under myself soldiers. I tell this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and tell another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and tell my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”

Perché anch’io sono un uomo sottoposto ad altri e ho sotto di me dei soldati; e dico a uno: “Va’”, ed egli va; e a un altro: “Vieni”, ed egli viene; e al mio servo: “Fa’ questo”, ed egli lo fa».
