J esus summoned his disciples and said, “I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days and have nothing to eat. I don’t want to send them away fasting, or they might faint on the way.”

Jesús llamó a sus discípulos y les dijo: «Esta gente me parte el corazón. Hace ya tres días que están conmigo, y no tienen qué comer. Y no quisiera enviarlos en ayunas, pues se pueden desmayar en el camino.»
