T he first was like a lion, and had eagle’s wings: I saw until its wings were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made to stand on two feet as a man; and a man’s heart was given to it.

La primera parecía un león, pero tenía alas de águila. Yo la estuve mirando hasta que le arrancaron las alas, la levantaron del suelo y la hicieron pararse sobre sus patas, como los seres humanos. Entonces se le dio un corazón humano.
