A s for the ten horns, out of this kingdom shall ten kings arise: and another shall arise after them; and he shall be diverse from the former, and he shall put down three kings.

Cele zece coarne, înseamnă că din împărăţia aceasta se vor ridica zece împăraţi. Iar după ei se va ridica un altul, care se va deosebi de înaintaşii lui, şi va doborî trei împăraţi.
