T hen the presidents and the satraps sought to find occasion against Daniel as touching the kingdom; but they could find no occasion nor fault, because he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him.

Allora i capi e i satrapi cercarono di trovare un’occasione per accusare Daniele circa l’amministrazione del regno, ma non potevano trovare alcuna occasione né alcun motivo di riprensione, perché egli era fedele e non c’era in lui alcuna mancanza da potergli rimproverare.
