T he king appointed for them a daily portion of the king’s dainties, and of the wine which he drank, and that they should be nourished three years; that at its end they should stand before the king.

Solchen bestimmte der König, was man ihnen täglich geben sollte von seiner Speise und vom Wein, den er selbst trank, daß sie also drei Jahre auferzogen würden und darnach dem König dienen sollten.
