B y the river on its bank, on this side and on that side, shall grow every tree for food, whose leaf shall not wither, neither shall its fruit fail: it shall produce new fruit every month, because its waters issue out of the sanctuary; and its fruit shall be for food, and its leaf for healing.

Na ka tupu ki te taha o te awa, ki tona pareparenga, ki tetahi taha, ki tetahi taha, nga rakau kai katoa; e kore nga rau e memenge, e kore ano nga hua e kore; ko ona hua, hou tonu i o ratou marama ano, no te mea i puta mai o ratou wai i te wahi tapu: na hei kai tona hua, hei rongoa tona rau.
