W hen I tell the wicked, You shall surely die; and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at your hand.

Quando io dirò all’empio: “Certo morirai!”, se tu non l’avverti e non parli per avvertire quell’empio di abbandonare la sua via malvagia, e salvargli così la vita, quell’empio morirà per la sua iniquità; ma io domanderò conto del suo sangue alla tua mano.
