B ecause of Yahweh’s wrath she shall not be inhabited, but she shall be wholly desolate: everyone who goes by Babylon shall be astonished, and hiss at all her plagues.

Por causa da ira do Senhor ela não será habitada, mas estará completamente desolada. Todos os que passarem pela Babilônia ficarão chocados e zombarão por causa de todas as suas feridas.
