T hen came all the princes to Jeremiah, and asked him; and he told them according to all these words that the king had commanded. So they left off speaking with him; for the matter was not perceived.

Tërë princat erdhën te Jeremia dhe e morën në pyetje, por ai u përgjigj duke iu përmbajtur tërë fjalëve që mbreti kishte urdhëruar; prandaj e lanë të qetë, nuk mësuan asgjë nga biseda.
