F or though you had struck the whole army of the Chaldeans who fight against you, and there remained but wounded men among them, yes would they rise up every man in his tent, and burn this city with fire.

если бы вы даже разбили все войско Халдеев, воюющих против вас, и остались бы у них только раненые, то и те встали бы, каждый из палатки своей, и сожгли бы город сей огнем.
