T herefore Yahweh says concerning Jehoiakim king of Judah: He will have no one to sit on David’s throne; and his dead body shall be cast out in the day to the heat, and in the night to the frost.

Perciò così parla il Signore riguardo a Ioiachim, re di Giuda: Egli non avrà nessuno che sieda sul trono di Davide, e il suo cadavere sarà gettato fuori, esposto al caldo del giorno e al gelo della notte.
