w ho tell wood, ‘You are my father;’ and a stone, ‘You have given birth to me:’ for they have turned their back to me, and not their face; but in the time of their trouble they will say, ‘Arise, and save us.’

die zum Holz sagen: Du bist mein Vater, und zum Stein: Du hast mich gezeugt. Denn sie kehren mir den Rücken zu und nicht das Angesicht. Aber wenn die Not hergeht, sprechen sie: Auf, und hilf uns!
