F irst I will recompense their iniquity and their sin double, because they have polluted my land with the carcasses of their detestable things, and have filled my inheritance with their abominations.

De aceea le voi răsplăti mai întîi îndoit nelegiuirea şi păcatul lor, pentrucă Mi-au spurcat ţara, pentrucă Mi-au umplut moştenirea cu trupurile moarte ale jertfelor aduse idolilor lor şi cu urîciunile lor.
