Isaiah 58:5 ~ ﺃﺷﻌﻴﺎء 58:5

I s this the fast that I have chosen? A day for a man to humble his soul? Is it to bow down his head like a reed, and to spread sackcloth and ashes under himself? Will you call this a fast, and an acceptable day to Yahweh?

هَلْ هَذِا هُوَ الصَّومُ الَّذِي أُرِيدُهُ: أنْ يُذَلِّلَ إنسانٌ نَفسَهُ بِضعَ ساعاتٍ؟ أنْ يَحنِي رَأسَهُ كَالعُشبِ، وَيَلبَسَ الخَيشَ وَيَفتَرِشَ الرَّمادَ؟ أتَدعُو هَذا صًوماً، أوْ يَوماً مَقبُولاً عِندَ اللهِ ؟
