B ut they remained silent, and said nothing in reply, for the king’s commandment was, “Don’t answer him.”

لَكِنَّ الشَّعبَ لَزِمَ الصَّمْتَ. فَلَمْ يَرُدُّوا بِكَلِمَةٍ واحِدَةٍ عَلَى رَبْشاقِي حَسَبَ أمْرِ المَلِكِ حَزَقِيّا. فَقَدْ أمَرَهُمْ: «لا تَرُدُّوا عَلَيهِ.»
