T herefore I will weep with the weeping of Jazer for the vine of Sibmah. I will water you with my tears, Heshbon, and Elealeh: for on your summer fruits and on your harvest the battle shout has fallen.

Piango, perciò, come piange Iazer, i vigneti di Sibma; io vi inondo con le mie lacrime, o Chesbon, o Eleale! Poiché sui vostri frutti d’estate e sulla vostra mietitura si è abbattuto un grido di guerra.
